Why I Became A Support Planner:
I chose a career as a support planner because I’m passionate about connecting with people and making sure they feel heard, valued, and confident in their journey. Being able to collaborate on person-centered plans that honor each individual’s strengths, aspirations, and priorities is what makes this work meaningful to me.

Prior Experience:
My background includes work in Financial Management Services (FMS) as well as leadership experience overseeing group home operations. I have also provided direct support to individuals with mental, developmental, and physical disabilities, which has strengthened my commitment to person-centered care and given me a thorough understanding of waiver programs and services.

Specific Populations:
My professional experience has been more heavily rooted in the Financial Management Services side of the system, and I am now intentionally shifting my focus toward support planning with a strong commitment to person-centered practice. While I am still growing in this role, I am eager to learn, open to supporting a wide range of individuals and families, and excited to develop my skills alongside those I work with—always centering their goals, needs, and voices in the process.

Personal Highlight:
I find joy in a mix of creativity, connection, and self-care. Spending time with my two cats is a daily comfort, and I love expressing myself through cooking, crafting, and playing the piano. Reading helps me slow down and recharge, while weightlifting keeps me grounded and strong—both physically and mentally. I value balance and bring that same sense of intention and care into all areas of my life.
